I went to Disneyland one day on a pair of southpole tennis shoes I was sooo miserable I wanted to leave after 1 hour of walking we spent the night at a hotel right across from Disneyland the next day my Husband took me to buy a pair of comfortable tennis shoes and I bought this pair OMG I loved it I have really bad feet not just any shoe makes me feel good But this Shoes is Awsome !
just okay (2009-10-10)
I bought these because I was looing for a good running shoe with pretty good support. I found the construction was good but not enough support. Not the best nike product.
Great Shoes! (2010-02-17)
I love these shoes. I am definitely buying a second pair - they are SO comfortable! They're durable, too. Best pair of running shoes I have ever owned.
These (2010-02-07)
I have a bunion and this shoe was one of three brands with wide toeboxes my doctor recommended. This is the 2nd pair I've purchased and will definitely purchase this brand/model again. I'm a runner and run 15-20 miles per week.
Nike Zoom Triax 12 I LOVE THESE SHOES!!!!! (2009-09-06)
This is my 2nd pair of Nike Zooms. I originally got the first pair because they were recommended by a Podiatrist. I have a problem with pain in my big toe joint.
He said these are great stability shoes. I have no more toe pain and I have been walking 3 to 5 miles a day. I will check it out with the doc to see if I can start running again.
These are terrific shoes!!! Well worth the money.
these are the best! (2009-05-24)
i originally was going to buy the mizuno alchemy 8 from amazon...
luckily for me, the vendor didn't have it in stock...
so i went to my local store that had them and tried them on...
HATED it...
but then i found the nike structure triax 12...
i put them on and loved loved loved them...
it's been about 4 years since i've loved my sneakers, so i'm in heaven...
especially since i wear them every day for work...
(in fact, i just ordered a 2nd pair from amazon today)
anyway...
they have ample room in the front for bunions and corns...
( i know, ewww...get over it, it's life)
and it supports my high arch...
oh and they're SOOOoooo comfy...and cushy...
and i feel like my foot is more stable than it's ever been...
(or at least in 4 years, since i owned new balance #856)
so...i highly recommend these shoes to anyone who likes stability without feeling like you're wearing a coffin on your feet...
they look great and feel great!
i couldn't ask for more in a sneaker right now...
one thing though...
unless your feet run really big, or you run really long distance races, don't bother sizing up more than a size from your dress shoes...
(long distance runners need an extra half size to avoid black toe)
i wear a 9 in 'shoes' and a 10 in these...though the sales person thought that i should go to 10.5...
but you have to go by how YOU feel...and the 10 was perfect, since i'm not running at all these days, except maybe to catch the bus...
anyway...i love this shoe...try it on and you will too...
:)

Very happy with this shoe (2010-02-23)
My first pair of Nikes in many years. They used to be real narrow for my feet but they have fixed that. Plenty of space in the forefoot, while the heel fits snugly (in my last pair of New Balances the heel was too big and my heel would slide around while I ran). Cushiony but not as much as the New Balance shoe or the Saucony I bought before that, they are a faster shoe.
The shoes have reinforcement over the big toe area which is a big plus for me. The Saucony shoes wore out over the big toe real fast, I've always wondered why all manufacturers don't reinforce that area. With the New Balance I reinforced the area myself with some moleskin and glue on the inside of the shoe before I started running in them, but that is a pain in the neck. I'm glad Nike had the foresight to save me the trouble.
I think the shoes are worth the money and will probably buy them again when these wear out.
Totally pain-free running! (2009-10-24)
I will begin by saying that the right type of shoe for you is key. Running shoes are created for different feet, and what may be good for one, may be horrific for others. I recommend anyone have their foot examined by a shop that specializes in running gear. That said, these are the best I've tried, for my kind of foot. I've been running 40-50 miles per week for over ten years. The "stability" and "stability plus" shoes have been deemed my type by a reputable running shop in my area. I usually run in certain Brooks and Asics shoes, and have rotated throughout the years. My all time favorite to this point has been the Brooks Trance 6. But, since the Brooks line has been deemed "biodegradable", so have my knees. Subsequent models have declined (for me) in cushioning and "runability". Since I have been running, I have always had insignificant and nagging sporadic knee pains, that I told myself were "part of running". I now must say, that the Equalon 3 has changed my outlook. I have over 250 miles on these, and any and all pain has disappeared. These things are like magic! My speed and total distance has improved since acquiring these shoes. I always laughed at Nike, thinking they were the bogus choice of the "cool look" crowd, not to be taken seriously for running. This is no longer the case. They are now my favorite shoe. Get fitted by a competent running shop first. If a "stability" shoe is recommended, go straight for these. You won't be disappointed. Pay attention and give up on the "green" junk, Brooks. You have been defeated by a much superior product. And this is from a runner that has always laughed at Nike.
P.S. Buy these a little big.
Superb Shoe (2009-09-21)
I have run over 200 miles with no appreciable wear in the Equalon 3 (unlike the Asics GT 2140, which had lining wear after 50 miles).
These are a very comfortable shoe with good stability, and superb cushioning both in the heel and forefoot.
Highly recommended.
Best in confort (2009-09-03)
I had already a pair of Equalon... since those were already bad I decided to go for a ones. I have never feel such comfort in shoes...You feel like you are flying with the shoes. Good cushioning, nice colors, good ventilation and you have the Nike+ tech.
Highly recommended if you are a pronator
